STAPLE has teamed up with emerging brand New York Old Friends on a limited-edition capsule collection titled "New York Old Friends with Staple."
I led the art direction for the collection & designed and illustrated all of the graphics. The conceptual through-line of the collaboration is the notion of giving people their flowers while they can still smell them: an invitation to directly acknowledge & appreciate all the people in your orbit—those who inspire you, who look out for you, who help you grow—in life, instead of death.
The 20-piece collection includes a reverse-fleece varsity jacket with custom patches and embroideries, short-sleeve and long-sleeve pocket tees, plush fleece hoodie and sweatpant sets, embroidered knit beanies, as well as a gold-rimmed ceramic catch-all dish.

Tori Simokov is a Brooklyn-based graphic designer and creative strategist. Currently, she’s at Snapchat cooking up augmented reality experiences for food & beverage brands. She’s also a travel writer and authors a newsletter called Window Seat.
