PEPSI DIG IN
2021To celebrate Black-owned restaurants & Pepsi’s Dig In initiative, the legendary Chef JJ Johnson collaborated with designer/entrepreneur Sheron Barber on a limited edition knife bag & carrier that dropped on Pepsi Dig In Day on November 6th, 2021.
My role as the lead strategist was to aid Pepsi in generating awareness for their Dig In initiative, which provides support to Black restaurateurs. I built the product & content strategy, which provided chefs & cooking connoisseurs with a high-design utility item & centered the story of Chef JJ’s Harlem restaurant, FIELDTRIP. The result was a sell-out moment for Pepsi, cultivating meaningful awareness that contributed to the future success of Black restaurateurs & restaurants.
